Why I Sound Design

I sound design because of the emotional power sound holds. Whether it stands on its own or supports other art forms, sound shapes how people feel, think, and experience a world.

From the quiet whisper of a fantastical forest to the impact of a magic spell or sci-fi weapon, I use sound to bring ideas to life. Every effect I create is rooted in storytelling and intention, designed to enhance immersion and connect the listener to the moment.

Sound design isn’t just my work it’s how I translate imagination into something you can feel as much as you hear.

WORK ETHIC

I approach every project with a balance of creativity and technical discipline. Working around hundreds of people per day in the film industry for years helped me develop strong communication skills, adaptability, and consistency under pressure. My time at the Vancouver Film School Sound Design program further refined this mindset, strengthening my workflow discipline, technical execution, and understanding of production standards in game audio. I bring this approach into sound design, focusing on detail, iteration, and clarity throughout the process. From concept to final implementation, I aim to deliver polished, immersive audio that supports gameplay, enhances storytelling, and meets industry expectations.
